Description

NED service to retrieve Positions for a named object: The NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED) provides a comprehensive fusion of multi-wavelength data for hundreds of millions of objects located beyond the Milky Way galaxy. This service retrieves available position data from various lists and catalogs for a given object. This provides an easy way to compare positions from different observations, including positions from different wavelength regimes for the same object.
